The EMT-Basic Psychomotor Exam is a hands-on practical evaluation designed to assess a student’s ability to apply the skills and knowledge required for entry-level EMS practice. This exam follows the current National Registry of EMTs (NREMT) skill standards and evaluates competency across a variety of core skill stations.
Each station is evaluated by a certified examiner using standardized checklists. Students must demonstrate safe, effective, and timely performance while communicating clearly and maintaining scene awareness.
